New judge appointed to consider case on Abu Bakr mosque

New judge has been appointed on the case of Abu Bakr mosque, Javanshir Suleymanov, Lawyer of Narimanov District’s religious community told APA that Turgay Husseinov, judge of Narimanov Court will consider the process. To him, the date of next trial on the case is not yet known. "The judge familiarizes himself with the case at present", he said.

Former judge Asif Allahverdiyev died on November 25.

Narimanov District’s religious community raised a claim against Narimanov Police Department on re–opening the mosque.
