Heydar Aliyev to be commemorated in Georgia

Events to commemorate national leader of Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev will be held in Dmanisi, Marneuli, Bolnisi and Gardabani under support of the Azerbaijani embassy to Georgia on December 11 and 12, said sources from the Azerbaijani embassy to Georgia.

According to the sources, the events participants will put flowers to Heydar's Aliyev bust. In these days, commemoration dinners will be arranged in the memory of the great politician and figure of Azerbaijan, as well as a great friend of Georgia and Georgian people.

By the information of the embassy, the meetings will be attended by representatives of the Georgian intellectuals as well as Azerbaijani community in Georgia.

Moreover, the senior leadership of the country and the region is expected to attend the event in Marneuli.
