First ever liver transplantation surgery held in Azerbaijan

Successful surgery on liver transplantation was for the first time held at the Central Oilmen Hospital of Azerbaijan under the leadership of surgeon Mircalal Kazimi, said the press service for the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan, to which this medical establishment belongs.

As is reported, the surgery, held for the first time in the Caucasus and Central Asia, was conducted on December 12.
