Six activists of the movement for rights of South Azerbaijanis were released in Iranian Urmia, reports Day.Az with reference to Mediaforum.

By the decision of the Urmian revolutionary court, activists Nevid Sultani, Said Mahmudi, Hojat Mahmudi, Sitara Gasimi, Rahman Gasimi and Humen Mahmudi were released. They have paid a guarantee in the amount from $15,000 to 30,000.
It should be noted that they were charged with a propaganda against Iranian powers. The activists were arrested on December 10 of 2008.
