Azerbaijan, Georgia on list of countries with most frequest attempts to trespass to Turkey

In 2008 the law enforcement bodies of Turkey detailed 52,000 people attempting to trespass to the country.
According to Cihan, officials noted that through the past years Turkey has turned into a transit country for non-legals from Middle East, Asia and Africa.

Among the country with most frequent attempts of trespassing Turket, are Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Birma, Algeria, China, Erithrea, Georgia, Iraq, Iran, Mauritania, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria and Turkmenistan.
