One of the world’s oldest men lives in Kurdmashi village of Ismayilli region.
APA’s Shirvan bureau reports that Nubar Ramazan Hasanova is 119 years old. Her husband died in the World War II in 1942. Nubar Hasanova has two children, 15 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren, 28 great-great-grandchildren.

Nubar Hasanova has interesting memories. She says she had witnessed Armenians’ tortures against Azerbaijanis in 1918.

"Armenian dashnaks and Russian Bolsheviks committed slaughters, tortured civilians in several villages of Ismayilli and Goychay in March-April, 1918. They defiled our dishes, beat, insulted women, girls, children, killed men. Armenians ruined villages. The soldiers of Turkish-Caucasus Islamic Army under the command of Nuru Pasha came to Azerbaijan to help the innocent civilians. We were glad to hear them come. We were told to return. They said Turks came to save us. The Turkish army together with Azerbaijani soldiers expelled Armenian dashnaks and Russian Bolsheviks," she said.

Nubar Hasanova also revealed the secret of being healthy and cheerful.
"I have always been industrious, lived honestly, eaten dairy products, vegetables and performed namaz," she said.

Though Nubar Hasanova is old, she walks without help, keeps hens, prepares meals and makes tea. She does not use glasses while doing all this and does not complain of bad memory.

Nubar Hasanova’s son Shukur Hasanov is 70 and daughter Zemfira Jabiyeva is 80 years old. Zemfira Jabiyeva has 10 children. She is mother-heroine.
