State Student Admission Commission (SSAC) has announced Turkish universities Master’s Program for Azerbaijani students for 2009-2010, SSAC press service told APA.

Azerbaijani bachelor’s degree holders or last-year students (under 27 by January 1, 2009) of the universities having not less than 4 points in 5-point scale (not less than 70 – in 100-point scale) may apply for master’s program of Turkish universities. Master’s degree holders and persons not exempted from military service have no right to apply for this program.
The bachelor’s degree holders, who according to the results of the test held on May 3, passed the second stage, but have not confirmed the “E-application of bachelor’s degree holders” in the Document Admission Commission set up by SSAC, must submit the reference about bachelor’s degree holders and document about exemption from military service to the commission by June 1-13. Only after that they can show and confirm the codes of master’s degree specialties of Azerbaijani universities and those of Turkish universities.
The competition for master’s degree specialties of Turkish universities will be held together with the competition for master’s degree specialties of Azerbaijani universities.
Azerbaijanis wining the right to study for master’s degree at Turkish universities must be registered in Education Ministry within three days after the results of the exam are announced.
The students admitted to the master’s level of Turkish universities will attend one-year preparation course in Turkey. After they pass final-entrance exam successfully, Turkish Council of Higher Education will place them at the universities in accordance with the specialties chosen by them.
