Azerbaijan's embassy in France is studying possibility of presence of Azerbaijani citizens on board of the Air France aircraft that was lost over Atlantic Ocean yesterday, embassy official told Trend News over telephone from Paris on June 2.

"We do not have information yet about presence of Azerbaijani citizen on board of the lost aircraft. We are studying this issue at the moment," he said.
The contact with A-330 airliner owned by Air France was lost at night on June 1 when the airbus was over the Atlantic Ocean between Brazil and Senegal coasts, RIA Novosti reported.
According to early reports, A-330 airbus was at height of 11 kilometers when it disappeared from radar.
