Turkish businessman detained by Azerbaijani frontier guards

Presently, he is in isolator of temporary allowance under the state border service for an attempt of illegal passing the border, Arabul's lawyer Abbas Atakishi told Trend News during court investigation on June 4.

Georgian frontier guards detained Arabul and passed him to Azerbaijan colleagues, he said.

Arabul was condemned to five years of conditional sentence and fine in the amount of 1,370,000 manat upon the decision of the court on grave crimes.

Arabul can not leave Azerbaijan until his term of punishment ends.
