Next meeting of Public Council for the Youth under Ministry of Youth and Sport held today

Addressing the meeting Deputy Youth and Sport Minister Intigam Babayev said it was planned to set up various commissions inside the council to improve the activity of the Public Council. The commissions will mainly cover social, medical, international, intellectual, scientific, patriotic and employment spheres. Babayev noted that the proposals of the youth organizations would be taken into consideration. He said the public organizations to be represented in the commissions would later hold their meetings and elect coordinators. He noted that the structures of the commissions would be worked out by the next meeting of the council.

The preparation of the next state program concerning the youth for 2010-2013 was discussed at the meeting, youth organizations made various proposals. Babayev said the organizations should present their proposals on the program in written form within a month. After that the council will prepare the draft state program.

Chief of the ministry’s sector Fuad Babayev gave information about the 3rd republic exhibition of the youth organizations to be held in Ganja on June 25. He said participation in the exhibition was voluntary. Babayev said only 40 organizations had applied for participation in the exhibition.

Media coverage of the events held within the framework of the projects financed by the ministry was discussed at the meeting.
