As many as 31 trespassers detained in Azerbaijan

A total of 20 attempts to trespass Azerbaijani border were prevented in June 2009, Azerbaijani State Border Service said.

Six of the detained are Azerbaijanis, 6 are Iranian, 6 Afghani, 5 Chinese, 4 Georgian, 1 Russian, 1 Turkish, 1 Pakistani and 1 Filipino.

During this period, as many as 415 people were detained for  trespassing border, 122 for lack of visa and 41 people were detained for lack of relevant documents.
