Azerbaijan’s first lady awarded medal by Association of Women Journalists

First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva has been awarded medal by the Azerbaijan Association of Women Journalists.
The Association of Women Journalists organized a ceremony to award Golden Achievement, Merit and Inam medals on occasion of the first all-republic forum of Azerbaijani women journalists on July 16.

First Lady, Heydar Aliyev Foundation President, ISESCO and UESCO good-will Ambassador Mehriban Aliyeva was awarded Golden Achievement medal by the forum’s organizing committee

Azerbaijani victim of war Salatin Asgarova was posthumously awarded Merit medal.

Editor-in-chief of Azerbaijani Woman newspaper Fatma Abdullazade was also conferred on Merit medal.

Diplomas Inam was awarded to Nur child society head Sevinj Muradova for the 10-year activity, the Council of Europe Office in Azerbaijan, AzTV presenter Nurangiz Gun, journalists from the newspaper Echo Dilbar Akhundzade and Eleonora Abbasguliyeva, Echo chief editor Rauf Talyshinski and Leila Karaman for organizing the public relations campaign of the forum, journalist of Yevlakh newspaper Kur Amina Yusif, Lider TV analyst Tofig Abbasov, Tunzale Gasimova, presenter of news program at Space TV Farid Isgandarov and a journalist of the Iki Sahil newspaper Khuraman Ismayilgizi.

Honorary diplomas were awarded to a banquet organizer of the Forum and the Director of the network of restaurants Anadolu Fikret Khalilov and philanthropist Vugar Baladjayev.

Media Star awards were conferred on to AzTV, Public TV, ATV television channel, Novosti-Azerbaijan news agency and MP Ganira Pashayeva for journalistic activities.
