St. Petersburg police investigates murder, injury of Azerbaijanis

The St. Petersburg Police Department has launched an investigation into murder and wounding case of Azerbaijanis, the relatives of the dead said.
Vasif Ojaqverdiyev, 29, and Arzu Jafarov, 28, were stabbed near their house at night on Aug.20. As a result Ojagverdiyev died and Jafarov is in serious condition, the relatives of the dead said.

According to initial assumptions, the Azerbaijanis were stabbed by Russian nationalists.

The dead body of Ojagverdiyev was brought to his home town,Gadabay region of Azerbaijan.
