Azerbaijani schools to be provided with textbooks before school year starts

The ministry said in 2009-2010 school years, 82 names of textbooks and methodical manuals for teachers were printed in Azerbaijani and Russian languages (more than 4.256 million units) for II and V-XI grades.

“Total of 40 names of textbooks and manuals for the teachers (1,112,500 copies) of second grade and 47 names (3,144,100 copies) for V-XI grades were issued."

In accordance with procedures, textbooks will be printed after appraisal of the Tariff Council. All textbooks will be handed over to general education institutions before the beginning of school year.
