Azerbaijani education ministry’s data base includes data about over 1.4 million pupils and 200,000 teachers, the ministry said in a statement.
Data base which covers all general education schools nationwide was created in the last academic year by education ministry’s information system department.
The data was posted on the database by schools themselves. The data is constantly updated during the school year. In the last school year, final exams for graduating pupils 11 were held precisely on the basis of the data base.
It enables to create a software of statistical reports starting from the new academic year and to receive these reports in the form of data base.
Currently, work is under way to bring the current data base in line with the new school year (transfer of students to the next grade), as well as to prepare software for pre-schools and universities.
