Victory of Azerbaijani judo fighter who claimed gold in championships in Yerevan celebrated in Baku

Members of the public movement "Irali" ("Forward") celebrated the Azerbaijani judo fighter Elmar Gasymov's victory who won a gold medal at the European Youth Championship in Yerevan.
In final fight the Azeri sportsman for 21 second has overcome the Czech Lucas Kpralek.

The Azerbaijan judoist still in 1/16 final has beaten Frenchman Clement Delverti. Then, he has won the representative of Austria Gabor Geer.

In semi-final Elmar Gasymov has defeated Anton Martsulevich from Belarus and then Thomas Domanski from Poland.

Remarkable is that in first two days of Euro-2009, the Azerbaijani judoists won 4 medals - silver (Ilgar Mushkiyev, 55kg) and three bronze medals (Rasim Asadullayev, 60kg, Fagan Eminoglu, 66 kg, and Ramin Gurbanov, 81 kg.
