There is unity among Muslims in Caucasus, Russia and CIS: Caucasus Muslims Board chief

Today the House of Unions in Moscow is hosting a conference "Russia & Islamic world: partnership for stability" attended by a large number of religious leaders in Russia and other countries of the Muslim world.

Sheikhulislam conveyed President Ilham Aliyev's greetings to the conference participants and thanked Russian President Dmitry Medvedev for assistance in organizing the conference. He said without the Russian President's participation, this conference could not take place in such a large format.

The delegates congratulated the spiritual leader of the Caucasus Muslims on his 60th anniversary, calling him "spiritual mentor and teacher."

On behalf of the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Bishop of Baku and the Caspian Sea, Alexander made a speech at the conference and read out a greeting by Cyril.
