25 September 2009 [12:37] - TODAY.AZ
"We have received applications to provide security of educational institutions in Baku and other towns of the republic and this process will continue," Chief of the Central Security Department of Azerbaijan’s Interior Ministry, Major-General Madat Guliyev said.
"The Interior Ministry’s Central Security Department provides securing of the schools that have applied," Guliyev said.

"Interior Minister Colonel-General Ramil Usubov have instructed to provide security of all educational institutions in the country. We fulfill this instruction," he said.

"Our office is a taxpayer and it is regulated by the Cabinet of Ministers. The price of security services is determined according to the working hours. About 1,500-1,800 manats are charged per month for security service of one school from 8.00 until 18.00. 24-hour security costs nearly 3000 manats," he added.

We understand that it is a high price for a school and therefore we try to involve one police officer. This kind of security service costs nearly 1,000-1,200 manats," he said.
