Over 20 villages in southern Azerbaijani flooded

Yesterday's heavy rains which began at around 01:00 flooding over 20 villages by the Vilashchay and Boradigah rivers, the Chairman of the region's Emergency Situations Commission Nadir Abiyev said.

The level of the river has reached 60-70 centimeters and one meter in some villages.

Five territorial areas of the region have been left without communication and power.

The regional center and some villages of the Lankaran region have also been left without power.
