Turkey may cancel hajj pilgrimage

30 September 2009 [14:16] - TODAY.AZ
The Turkish Health Ministry may prohibit annual Hajj pilgrimage if the number of vaccines against swine influenza A (H1N1) will be insufficient, Haber7 Web site reported.
The question of sending Turkish pilgrims to holy cities of Mecca and Medina remains open, the Web site said.

Turkey's Health Ministry said a vaccine against swine flu will be in insufficient quantities in Oct.

The pilgrims are less likely to get vaccination at the border with Saudi Arabia, because the world still do not have enough vaccines against A (H1N1).
