Azerbaijani embassy in Malaysia makes a statement

There are no Azerbaijani citizens among victims of the earthquake that took place in Malaysia.
On Sept. 30, at 18:17 Malaysian time, an earthquake of 7.9 [Richter's scale] hit the southern Sumatra.

"After the earthquake, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Malaysia contacted Azerbaijanis residing there and learned that none of them was injured," the foreign ministry said.
