Date set for launch of Azerbaijan's ATV International television channel

The first international television of Azerbaijan ATV International (ATV Int) will be on air on Oct. 5, editor-in-chief of news department of ATV Vagif Aydinoglu said.
He said ATV Int will broadcast in four languages: Armenian, Persian, English and Russian.

The news programs will be broadcast twice a day.

A total of 12-15 minute airtime will be allotted for news program in each language.

Aydinoglu said as the television was established for promoting Azerbaijan, several documentary films are being shot at present.
