Georgian Patriarch to visit Azerbaijan

Catholicos Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II will visit Azerbaijan on Nov.6-7 to attend the 60th anniversary of the Chairman of the Caucasus Muslims Office (CMO) Sheik-ul-Islam Haji Allahshukur Pashazade, which will be celebrated in Baku soon.
Head of the Georgian Orthodox Church is also among the invited guests.

According to the Patriarchate, currently the sides discuss the agenda of the Georgian Patriarch's visit.

The meeting with the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Cyril, who was also invited to the celebration, is not excluded.
