No high juvenile delinquency in Azerbaijan: youth ministry official

In the children's prisons, those who have committed crimes are not divided into into orphans and young people who grew up in a family, Chief of Healthy Life Style Department of the Azerbaijan Youth and Sports Ministry Narmina Bagirova said.
"I would not say that crime among adolescents and young people deprived of parental care has the highest percentage,” Bagirova said.

“I have not met children and adolescents from boarding schools and orphanages in children’s jails so far.”  

Juvenile delinquency in dropping in the country, she said.

"Earlier 70 people were  serving terms in the children's jail while this this number is a little over 50 at present,” she added.
