Russian embassy in Azerbaijan announces competition for journalists and students

Works can be submitted for the competition in Russian on the following topics:

"Russia-Azerbaijan: a strategic partnership for peace and stability", on 65th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War: "The memory of the Victory in Great Patriotic War is unforgettable," and "The Role of the Russian language in modern Azerbaijan.”

Works of young journalists (up to 30 years) and students of journalism will be accepted (articles, photo stories).

Works will be accepted in electronic form. Articles composed of up to 10,000 characters and photo-stories of not less than 10 photographs will be accepted in separate electronic carriers.

Applications with works will be accepted till  Dec. 15, 2009 at: AZ1022, Baku, 17 Bakikhanov st., Embassy of Russia in Azerbaijan and at e-mail address at [email protected].

The winners will be awarded honorary diplomas and prizes.

The most interesting materials are planned to be issued in a separate collection and the best photo stories will be exhibited at a specially organized photo exhibition.
