Industry & Energy Ministry devises draft proposal for Azerbaijani agency on alternative and renewable energy

"Proposal has already been developed and submitted to the Presidential Administration," Javadov said speaking at a special conference in Baku.

Azerbaijan has great opportunities to develop alternative and renewable energy. There should be created all possibilities for foreign investors to develop this sphere, Javadov added.

The OSCE is always ready to assist in the development of alternative and renewable energy sources, Head of OSCE Office in Baku Ali Bilge Cankorel said at the beginning of the conference.

Representative of the German Federal Economics and Technology Ministry Andreas Obersteller said that the EU and the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry will sign a Memorandum of Understanding which includes training on the principles of management in the field of alternative and renewable energy sources.
