Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan declared Islamic Culture Capital 2018

The ministers approved the final declaration of the Baku process, and resolution on declaring Nakhchivan as Islamic Culture Capital 2018 and condemning the destruction of Islamic cultural heritage in Karabakh.

The meeting will be finalized on Oct. 14. The ministers will adopt the final document and choose the Islamic Culture Capital 2010, as well as venue of the 7th meeting of OIC ministers of culture.

About 200 delegates from 45 countries, including European countries, attend the 6th meeting of the OIC ministers of culture.

The participants met with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev on Wednesday. Tomorrow they will attend different cultural programs organized within the conference.
