Weekly quarantine declared in all schools in Ankara because of swine flu

The governor of the Turkish capital as part of activities to combat avian influenza A/H1N1 on Sunday adopted a decree under which all schools in Ankara on Monday declared a week-long quarantine, the press office of the governor.

Turkey's Health Ministry on Saturday reported the first case of death of a man in the country from the virus A/H1N1. It is registered in Ankara, Ria Novosti reported.

As of Saturday, in Turkey registered 958 cases of the virus A/H1N1, said the Ministry of Health.
