Azerbaijan State Border Service rescues wrecked Russian ship

Azerbaijan’s ships "Ayla" and "Avior" rescued the Russian motor vessel "Phili" owned by Arkhangelsk-based Vagna Shipping Ltd.
Astrakhan port received information about the ship’s wreckage, which caused flooding of engine space and left the vessel without electricity.

There were 1.785 thousand tons cargo and 11 crew members on board.

Azerbaijani State Border Service’s ships "Ayla" and "Avior" approached the wrecked vessel and towed it to the Cilov Island.
