Azerbaijan Airlines installs thermal imagers in Baku airport to reveal “swine flu”

“Azerbaijan Airlines (Azal) continues taking preventive measures against the “swine flu” (A/H1N1),” Azal spokesperson Maharram Safarli said.
“Six thermal imagers FLIR A320 have been installed in the arrival halls of the northern and southern terminals. These devices make it possible to identify the signs of the virus A/H1N1 in people coming to Azerbaijan from around the world,” Safarli said.

“Thermal imagers were purchased by the State Customs Committee and brought to Azerbaijan in late August early September. We plan to increase the number of these devices,” he said.

He said the airport employees working in emergency mode

"Every day we strengthen preventive measures in the cabin, registration point, baggage claim areas on the landing zone,” he added.
