"Swine flu vaccines to be sent by the World Health Organization to Azerbaijan are completely harmless”, Assistant Director of the Republican Anti-Plague Station Shaig Gurbanov said.

He said the population didn’t accept swine flu inoculation unequivocally.
“Some people can vomit, have a temperature or feel weak after the inoculation. There are people who are sensitive to drugs. But there is no vaccine with 100-percent negative effect. These vaccines were strongly tested and WHO licensed it after the special experiments. The vaccine’s effect on the children, old people, middle age and period of its effect on the human body were deeply studied. If the vaccine had caused even one death, it wouldn’t be allowed for use," he said.
Gurbanov said first of all the risky group of people – doctors, people with weak immunity, chronically illness, children and old people, pregnant women and people having more contacts with population would be inoculated.
The inoculation will be provided in the polyclinics.
