Baku to host exhibition of Central Asian coverlets

Exhibition “Coverlets of Central Asia” from the collection of famous British Victoria and Albert Museum will open in Baku on Nov. 5.
The exhibition will be held at the Baku Museum of Art.

The exhibition will feature 58 pieces of clothing and coverlets related to the theme of the Great Silk Way that crossed the Central Asia in past.

Victoria and Albert Museum is world's largest museum of decorative arts and design. It was founded in 1852.

The exhibition will last till March 3, 2010.
