We still not see fundamental changes in Azerbaijani TV channels: National Television and Radio Council

The meeting focused on promoting efficiency of broadcasting.

“We gave some recommendations to them. Banality in the TV programs should be eliminatec. Guests invited to programs should be chosen attentively. TV channels should work to form an image of a normal Azerbaijani,” he said.

Maharramli said though the recent monitoring in the TV channels and radios show positive changes in the protection of national and moral values, there still are problems.

“The channels should work hard to reach the level we expect. The channels have made some changes in their programs, but we still do not see fundamental changes,” he added.
