Swiss president sends letter to head of Cultural Center of Azerbaijanis

President of Switzerland Hans-Rudolf Merz sent an official letter to Gasim Nasirov, head of Cultural Center of Azerbaijanis in Switzerland, Azerbaijani State Committee for Diasporas said.

In his letter, the Swiss president expresses gratitude to the center for deepening cultural relations between Switzerland and Azerbaijan and better informing the Swiss people about Azerbaijani culture.

Hans-Rudolf Merz says he is interested in the music performed in the opening of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture in Switzerland adding that everyone who hears this music wants to learn Azerbaijani culture.

The official opening ceremony of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture was held in Bern, the capital of Switzerland on Oct. 19, during Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to the country.
