Over 2 million square meters of area demined in Azerbaijan in October

ANAMA’s press service said 16, 248 mines and UXOs were cleared.

A total of 425 specialists and 115 assistants, six mine clearing vehicle and 30 dogs were involved with the operations.

Nearly 115,803,002 square meters area of Azerbaijan has been cleared off mines and UXOs.

As many as 504,396 mines and UXOs have been disarmed.

ANAMA conducts mine sweep in Terter, Aghdam, Fuzuli, Tovuz, Agstafa, Goygol regions and Garadagh district of Baku.

No mine accident was recorded last month.
