Korean TV channel makes four-part film about Azerbaijan

EBS TV channel of Korea has made four-part film about Azerbaijan.
The film crew of EBS TV channel of the Republic of Korea visited Azerbaijan on Sept. 25 – Oct. 15 with the support of Azerbaijani embassy in Korea.

The Korea film crew shot a four-part film about Azerbaijani people, national culture, historical monuments and tourist places.

The first part “Peoples of the Caucasus” deals with the national minorities settled in the northern regions of Azerbaijan, which is located between the Black Sea and Caspian Sea.

Korean audience will also learn about Khinalig village in Guba, the highest settlement in Azerbaijan.

The film says minorities worshiping various religions  have lived in tolerance in Azerbaijan for centuries.

The second part “Glorious heritage of the Silk Road” features reports from Lahic and Shaki, the central cities of the ancient Silk Road, examples of Azerbaijan’s ancient craftsmanship, excursion to Old City in Baku that has been included into the World Cultural Heritage List by UNESCO.

The third part entitled “Inextinguishable flame of Baku” makes a tour to Yanardagh and Ateshgah monuments in Azerbaijan and it is noted that the motherland of Zoroastrianism is not Iran, or India, but Azerbaijan.

Martyrs’ Lane and the Eternal Flame in the alley is demonstrated, it is noted that Azerbaijani territories, including Nagorno-Karabakh have been occupied by Armenia, a lot of Azerbaijanis were killed in the conflict, about one million Azerbaijanis were displaced.

The fourth part “Land on the other side of the history” tells the Korean audience about Gobustan Rock Art and mud volcanoes.

Tour was also made to Lankaran and Lerik, which is known as the land of long-livers.
