Azerbaijan Islamic Democratic Party suggests to launch hot line at Caucasus Muslims Board

16 November 2009 [18:28] - TODAY.AZ
Azerbaijan Islamic Democratic Party (AIDP) suggests to launch a hot line at the Caucasus Muslims Board, AIDP chairman Tahir Abbasli said.
He said he has already introduced his proposal to CMB Chairman Allahshukur Pashazade.

Abbasli said Pashazade welcomed his proposal and promised to consider it.

“Initially, we suggested to open a hot line at any religious body, but thought that in terms of influence, the scale of religious education, it is more appropriate to open it at CMB,” Abbasli added.

He said besides issues of law, tax, health, education and other matters, people are also concerned about issues related to religion.

“We, the Islamist democrats believe that people have many questions about Islam. I think the representatives of the CMB and various mosques will answer questions about religion on the hot line with great pleasure. I and other representatives of the party are ready to provide support in this matter,” he said.
