Baku to discuss struggle against cyber crimes

The workshop is dedicated to Azerbaijan’s accession to the Council of Europe Convention on Cyber-Crime.  

The event is organized by TAIEX (Technical Assistance Information Exchange Instrument of the European Commission).

Conducting such a seminar is particularly relevant in terms of assessing implementation of European legislation in this area and identifying effective ways to combat cyber crimes at the European level.

The event is planned to discuss similar European laws adopted in combating cyber-crime, as the Convention on Cyber Crime dated 2001, framework Decision on Attacks Against Information Systems and Decision on the Fight against Sexual Exploitation of Children and Child Pornography and other measures to combat crime in the network.

The event will be held  on recommendation of CE and will be attended by experts of the Academy of European Law.
