French school to be opened in Azerbaijan

A secondary French school will be opened in Azerbaijan upon initiative of French embassy in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan's Education Minister Misir Mardanov said.
The minister said children of French embassy’s staff members and other citizens would get education in this school.

The education will be according to the state education standards of France.

“This will not be an Azerbaijan’s school. It will subordinate to the Ministry of Education of France and give a diploma about education issued in France. We have agreed on that and we will allocate venue for the school. We will support the French side when it will start this work”.
