Azerbaijani president inaugurates Azadlyg Prospekti metro station

Azerbaijani leader cut a ribbon symbolizing official opening of the station.

The Head of State was informed that the construction of the metro station started in late 2006.

President Aliyev congratulated builders and subway workers on the opening of the station.

The subway is at a depth of 14 meters below the surface and has no internal columns.

The Head of State viewed improvements around the station and met with people in Binagadi district.
