Azerbaijan withdraws gas appliances of world known brands from sales

The State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan has conducted monitoring in Sumgait for the purpose of consumer market protection from dangerous household appliances lacking certificates.

According to the Committee, following the monitoring they banned sales of dangerous household equipment operating on gas and having no conformity certificates.

“During the monitoring we withdrew from sales outlets gas-stove made in Turkey under trademarks Susler, Silver and BEKO, hot water appliances BOSCH made in Germany, gas stoves DELUX made in Turkey, water heaters SAMSUNG made in China, household gas stoves SAMSUNG and NOKIA made in China, household gas stoves MARSHALL made in Iran,” the Committee said.
