Talks to release Armenia-captured Azerbaijani resident to continue

The representatives of the Azerbaijani office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), who visited the family of Tovuz resident Tagiyev Eldar Heydar captured by Armenian servicemen on Dece. 28, said the process on his release will become more active from Jan. 12.

ICRC representatives attributed it to the holidays on Christmas in Armenia till Jan. 12.

ICRC representatives got information from Tagiyev’s family concerning the situation he had been captured.

According to the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons, Eldar Tagiyev has been captured by Armenian servicemen under uncertain circumstances and is being held in Armenia.
