Azerbaijani education minister: Country's higher schools to receive funds under new mechanism

Minister said the World Bank is ready to extend a loan for this project.

“The funds differ per student in the higher schools. We want this difference to be objective. We do not want the funds allocated for higher education to be wasted. Our main aim is that the funds allocated for higher education must serve increase of quality of education,” he said.

According to Mardanov, discussions will be held with participation of Lithuanian Minister of Science and Education, representatives of the World Bank, Azerbaijani Presidential Administration and Cabinet.
