Five people died and three were injured after two buses collided on Binagadi Street in Baku
near the Emil Petrol station, the Baku State Traffic Police Department's official Jamshid Hanifayev said.

The cause of accident involving passenger buses No.106 and No.165 was high speed, he said.

Two bus drivers died after their buses collided.

According to him, the police used the Emergency Situations Ministry's technique in connection with the deformation of both vehicles when removing the dead bodies of drivers.

Presently, the police identify the dead and injured.

The collision left both drivers dead.

The traffic accident took place at 7:30 [local time].

The witnesses said the bus No.106 was caring several passengers while the other bus No.165 was empty.

The traffic accident left 5 people dead, the Binagadi District Police Office said.
