Ukrainian soprano to perform in Baku

Giacomo Puccini's masterpiece “Toska” will be presented at the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater on February 20.
Ukrainian opera star Victoria Chenskaya was invited to sing a part of Toska. Chenskaya is a principal singer at the Ukraine`s State Theater of Opera and Ballet, Grand-Prix winner of the International Opera Contest Ondina Otta.

She was awarded as the best performer of Toska`s part at the International Opera Festival in Barcelona, Spain.

The Baku performance also features People`s Artist of Azerbaijan Azer Zeynalov (as Kavaradossi), Avaz Abdullayev (as Skarpia). Conductor is Javanshir Jafarov.
