Azerbaijan Media Center hosts photo exhibition

The exhibition, organized by the US embassy in collaboration with the University of Missouri School of Journalism an the Azerbaijan Media Center, features 50 pictures.

Speaking to the opening ceremony, head of the social relations department at the embassy Terry Davidson said the pictures were winners of the 2009 International competition organized by Missouri School of Journalism.

The Picture of the 2009 International competition has been held since 1944 as a way to recognize the best photojournalists from around and to highlight the importance of visual journalism.
