Two electric passenger trains derail in Azerbaijan

On Tuesday evening, at about 19:00 Baku time, two passenger electric trains, moving along the route Yalama-Baku, derailed near the Yalama station (northern region of Azerbaijan) due to problems with wheel pairs.

No victims or wounded were recorded as a result of the incident, Azerbaijan Railways JSC said. According to the company, the incident occurred at one station, so serious problems have not arisen.

Currently work is carried out on rails, the trains in the northern direction and vice versa move on the same line.
