Azerbaijani President awards employees of state news agency

On the threshold of the news agency's anniversary, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a number of orders to award the management and employees of the Agency with state awards and honorary titles.

Under the order, Director General of AzerTaj Aslan Aslanov was awarded with the order "For Service to Motherland" of the 3rd degree for special merits in development of the national press in the Azerbaijan Republic.

Eight employees of the Agency have been awarded honorary titles "Honored journalist", "Honored culture worker" and "Honored engineer" for merits in development of mass media and nine journalists have been awarded with the medal "Tereggi".

The head of state awarded one employee of AzerTAc with the special grant of President of the Azerbaijan Republic.
