Landslide has activated in Gusar region of Azerbaijan.

The landslide covers an area of 10,000 square meters, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
The landslide came down in mid-March 2009 in the village of Urva of Gusar region, as a result of rainfall on Feb. 22, and activated, creating a serious threat to the houses located in the nearby territory.
Presently, the relevant government bodies are making necessary arrangements.
Gusar is located 200 km north of Baku.
