Polish Prime Minister visits Icheri Sheher

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan, visited Icherisheher (Old City) National Historic-Architectural Reserve.

Tusk was informed in details about Icherisheher, which is a unique example of world urban development and included in the UNESCO World Heritage list, about renovation and restoration work there.

Tusk started his tour from Giz Galasi (Maiden Tower). Then he looked at Bazar Meydani (Market Square), Bukhara and Multani karavansarai (hotel and restaurant complex), Gosha Gala (Twin Gates) and Shirvanshah (King of Shirvan) Palace. Tusk attended tea party at the Philharmonic Garden and then wrote cordial words in the honorable guests book of Icherisheher.
